Hugh has over 50 years of experience as a communications technician and electrician. He started his training through the US Navy Seabees and began his maritime career working on tug boats as a construction electrician. He became a Master Class A Electrician and FCC certified for second class radio telephone operators with radar endorsement. Hugh has been working on commercial vessels from small construction pusher tugs to sea going ships. He started New England Marine Electronics in 1999. He has a reputation for his abilities to troubleshoot and repair problems others have failed to solve. His experience is not limited to electrical/electronics. Hugh's passion for this industry has led him to the role of instructor where he can pass along all of the knowledge he has accumulated throughout his experience. He is on the committee for the NMEA where he writes the training and instructs courses. He also teaches courses for the Yacht Restoration School and has expanded his knowledge and training to work with the Northeast Maritime Institute accredited program. His latest venture includes being involved with the re-writing documentation for vessel inspections.
Electronic/Marine Engineer, Technician, and Electrician, Brandon, graduated Cum Laude from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Electronic Engineering. He has worked with New England Marine Electronics since 2005 and his reputation preceeds him. He is responsible for the design of electronic & electrical systems as well as installation and troubleshooting. His areas of expertise also include being MEI AMEI and NMEA certified.

Marine Technician journeyman, Frank, joined the team in 2016. He gained his tarining and experience as a veteran in the US Navy submarine division as a 2nd class Radioman. He was in charge of communications and maintaining the communication systems. His roles at New England Marine Electronics include; installation, servicing, and troubleshooting. He is a certified technicaian in the following manufactures:
Principal partner owner, Penny, was responsible for the office management since 1999 and recently retired. She is a wire-man who is well versed in all of the marine electronic and engineering equipment and jobs. Penny is a veteran of the US Army Reserve's MASH. She is also a certified technician for Raymarine.
VP of Business Operations, Lauren, holds a B.B.A in Business Marketing from The University of West Georgia. With over 12 years of experience in business, Lauren brings her knowledge of both Management and Marketing along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. She is responsible for all office and business management.
Shop Service Coordinator, Jack, holds a USCG Captain's License and has experience operating tugs. His long time knowledge of the marine industry in both pleasure and commercial vessels, bring an admirable expertise to our staff.
